Active & Autistic
Created by an autistic adult to connect with other autistic adults and people with disabilities
This site was created by me, Charles "Charlie" Doyle, to provide you with information about activities for adults with autism and other disabilities in Pennsylvania. If you enjoy bowling, meeting up for dinner, going to concerts, or just want to meet a life partner, then this is your space. You can also connect with me on Facebook and Instagram where I'll share photos from events and connect you with other friends.
These are also places that you, too, can share information and ideas for events.
I'm 31 years old and became autistic after an infant vaccination. I enjoy bowling, listening to heavy metal music, and hanging out with family and friends. I don't want to brag, but lots of people say that I'm a loyal friend and nice guy. I like helping people. That's why I decided to finally start Active and Autistic. Even though I have lots of friends, I really want to meet friends who are like me. I'd also like to meet a girlfriend to share my life. I know there are a lot of you that feel the same way. While most of the activities that I plan will be in the Pittsburgh area because I live in Valencia. My dream is to host Active & Autistic national events and become an Anti-Vax Advocate or to become a Voice for the organization. Since I started Active and Autistic, I have raised $500 for the Autism Society through the help of Moon Dog and John Vento, creators of Band Together Pittsburgh.
